This segment will visit the remote volcanic island of Crown and Long Island. Long Island is sparsely populated and is endowed with the huge inland Lake which in effect is the crater of an active volcano known as Lake Wisdom.  Dependent in weather, landings will be made on Crown Island, Pt Kiau and Bok Village.

Overnight to Bali and the Witu Group where several days will be spent exploring the beautiful atolls and anchor in the perfect harbour in Garove Island, a former crater.  Superb diving and snorkelling and visits to villages including the historic port used by the German New Guinea Company.   The final visit will be to Tingawom and New Hanover where a visit will be made to Tsoi Island before arriving at Kavieng, Capital of the New Ireland Province.

This segment begins with a cruise of the Rabaul Harbour, visit to the Observatory, Kokopo, Japanese War Tunnels before leaving Simpsons Harbour and travelling across the Solomon Sea to Nissan Island where a full day will be spent in the beautiful lagoon hopefully enjoying crayfish.

The final leg will be along he coast of Buka Island to the spectacular Buka Passage in headquarters of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.   A visit till be made to villages on Buka Island and if transport is available to Arawa, he former capital of Bougainville prior to the conflict.

The Trobriand Island remains one of the most interesting destinations in the Pacific.  The people live to love and love to live - the culture is a living reality, beautriful ebony carvings, spectacular kula canoes, superb snorkelling and diving in protected waters with plenty of time to explore the land and under the water.  Visit Kiriwina, Kitava, Kuyawa, Iwa, Egum Atoll, Normansby, Fergusson island and enter Milne Bay through East Cape and a short 3 hours cruise through Milne Bay to Alotau, the Capital of the Milne Bay Province.

This is the final sector of the cruise which begins in Alotau, cruises Milne Bay to East Cape and across to Fergusson or Goodenough Island, visit Wagifa then across the Straits to Tufi where a full day is spent in the fjordlands.  For the next two days you will explorer the Morobe Coastline which remains relatively untouched, yet indications are there are numerous rivers, lakes and waterways to explore.  Leaving Salamaua the Kalibobo Spirit passes Tami Island and spend a say in the Siassi Group before proceeding to Tolokiwa, an exctict volcanic island, onto Bagabag and Kar Kar before returning to the home base of Madang. 

This is the inaugural expedition aboard the Kalibobo Spirit which will be under the command of Sir Peter Barter, the owner and Chairman of MTS Limited.  Conditions permitting a helicopter will be carried aboard the vessel and special arrangements will be made to celebrate Christmas and New Year in unique places.

A dive master will be aboard to provide scuba and snorkelling at most locations.

All diving, meals, excursions, wine with meals, village fees, entertainment is included.  Helicopter excursions, airfares, charters, items of a personal nature are not included.
